Finavia Growth Incentive Scheme 2010-2011
Finavia's strategy is to support airlines to develop services to Finland and grow passenger volumes. To support Airline business development, Finavia has introduced a passenger growth incentive program for years 2010-2011. Finavia rebates the Airlines 3 € per departing passenger in 2010 and 2 € per departing passenger in 2011.
The rebate is paid for incremental increases in passenger volumes delivered by any scheduled carrier. The growth incentive scheme is valid at all Finavia operated airports in Finland including Helsinki Airport.
Airport charges at Helsinki Airport are among the lowest of main airports in Europe. Finavia reduced overall Airport charges by 10 % on 1 September 2009. Lowered airport charges in combination with a growth incentive scheme provide Airlines a platform for future growth.
