SLOT requests to Helsinki Airport

Helsinki Airport Slot Coordination is a responsible body for the allocation of slots at Helsinki Airport. Helsinki Airport is the only coordinated airport in Finland. For all other airports in Finland, please contact the airport concerned directly.

SLOT requests by email, SITA or online coordination

All Air Carriers operating to and from Helsinki Airport must always submit a request for the allocation of landing and/or take-off slots to the coordinator and receive approval before operating.

Only SCR formatted messages (Slot Clearance Request) to request, change or delete airport slots are accepted. Airlines are requested to send slot requests by:

General and business aviation

Slot requests for general and business aviation shall be submitted two hours prior to the
EFHK ARO, OPR HR H24.

Helsinki Airport Slot Coordination Association

Helsinki Airport Slot Coordination Association was established as an independent coordination organization in July 2002. The costs accrued from daily activities will be borne by the members as follows: Finavia 45 %, and the airlines together 55 % so that the maximum cost share of any single member must be below 50 % and minimum 3 %. The costs of airlines are based on the number of passenger carried by the member airline previous year. Members are Finavia, Finnair, Flybe, Blue1 and Air Finland.
