Finavia offers now a free internet connection at Ivalo airport

Finavia has made free Internet connections available now at almost all of its airports. Starting from June, passengers have connections from Ivalo, Kemi-Tornio, Kuusamo, Lappeenranta ja Maarianhamina.

The WLAN connection will improve the services offered to passengers at the terminals: You can conveniently use your laptop to check your e-mail or surf the Web while waiting for your flight. These days, it is natural to work and keep in touch irrespective of time and place.

Accessing the Web is straightforward. When your laptop is in the area covered by the airport WLAN, it is automatically shown on the display. The connection is shown as “Free wireless internet”. No password is required to log in.

Previously, Internet access has been available at Helsinki-Vantaa, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Kittilä, Kruunupyy, Kuopio, Oulu, Pori, Rovaniemi, Savonlinna, Tampere-Pirkkala (Terminals 1 and 2), Turku and Vaasa.
