Winter comes every year, even abroad – Finavia has been developing its offering of winter maintenance expertise

Last winter, Finavia showed once again that we are well capable of keeping our airfields operable in any weather. Our snow expertise was the subject of much interest throughout Europe. Now Finavia is prepared to offer consultancy services and training related to winter maintenance. At the same time, Finavia has produced and maintains a brand new Snow How website.

Last winter, foreign media and many European airports were interested to know how we cope in difficult winter conditions.
- We possess excellent winter maintenance expertise, and that produces added value and positive publicity for Finavia worldwide, says Development Manager Antti Markkanen.
