Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, started operating its new service between Kajaani and Helsinki that, offering a convenient choice of up to three return flights a day, has become an ‘instant hit’ with passengers with the airline reporting stronger than anticipated demand and ticket sales ‘above expectations’.
The airline offers possibility to book one way fares from as little as €39 including taxes and charges.
This route is clearly a much-needed link between the Finnish capital and an important industrial centre that is also a gateway to some of Finland’s most spectacular natural scenery.
The route also provides Kajaani passengers a convenient, affordable way to travel to Helsinki from where there are excellent onward connections with Finnair to Asia and to the rest of Europe.
