Belts must be placed on the security control X-ray conveyor from now on
From now on, passengers, airport employees and flight crew must be prepared to remove their belt and place it on the X-ray conveyor at the airport security checkpoints. Removing your belt ahead of time speeds up the security check, as the number of alerts from the metal detector gates will decrease. A corresponding policy is in common use at international airports.
Before entering the security check
When you come to the security check, in addition to any belts you might be wearing, remove your overcoat, jacket or coat, and remove your laptop computer from its bag. Remove any large electric devices from your hand luggage, as well as any liquids you have with you. Place the items on the X-ray conveyor. After this, go through the metal detector gate and take your items from the conveyor.
You should pack all loose items, such as keys, telephones and coins in advance to a purse, flight bag or a jacket pocket. If such items are in your trouser pockets or elsewhere on your person, they may cause unnecessary alerts.
