Lappeenranta Airport sits at the eastern border of the European Union. From Lappeenranta you can reach Saimaa by water and travel the Saimaa Canal all the way to Viipuri (Vyborg). The airport is only a couple kilometres away from the city centre.

Helsinki Airport airspace is open for traffic

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport's air traffic control services are open and other airport services, like terminal services, are returning to normal by 12.00 noon. With the current knowledge, the airport is open until 3 pm. The situation after that will be monitored before noon.

More information about airlines and services at Helsinki Airport  terminal can be found at Airport's website.

All other Finavia’s airports, except Mariehamn, will be opened by 12 noon until further notice.

Passengers are asked to contact their airline, travel agency or tour operator before leaving to the airport. Airlines contact information can be found at Helsinki Airport website.
