Services at the Airport

The Oulu Airport terminal is open daily from 4 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Check-in and travel services

Airlines are responsible for organising check-in and baggage services for all passengers. These services are provided by handling agents at the airport. If you need more information on check-in or delayed baggage, contact the handling agent of your airline.

Restaurants and cafés

Oulu Airport has two Hello Cafe restaurants that provide you with a peaceful spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious meal. Before going through the ecurity, take a moment to savour a snack with coffee, a tasty lunch or a full meal from the menu.

After the security check, the second Hello Cafe offers specialty coffees, fresh home-made sandwiches, sweets and pastries.

Shops

Oulu Airport provides good opportunities for duty free shopping at Airport Shop located after going through the security. The shop is open according to the flight schedule.

Airport Shop offers a wide selection of duty free products, such as high-quality cosmetics and fragrances, local novelties, Finnish delicacies and a variety of entertainment for the flight. There are monthly special offers at the shop, and you can save up to 10 to 30 percent compared to the prices in Oulu.

Childcare

Travelling with children is made easy at Oulu Airport. There are baby care tables in the women's and accessible bathrooms on the first floor.

Baby food can be heated at the restaurants, and the Hello Cafe located after the security check has a small video corner for children. A play area will be built at the airport in the near future.

Services for the disabled

Getting from place to place is made easy also for the disabled at Oulu Airport. The entrances at the airport are accessible. In addition, there are accessible bathrooms, lifts and parking for the disabled at the airport.

The airport also has wheelchairs and walkers for use at the airport. Remember to notify your airline if you plan to travel with your own wheelchair.

The personnel at Oulu Airport are pleased to offer assistance. If you need assistance at the airport, please notify the information desk before arriving at the airport and your airline already at the time of booking.

ATM and postal services

Oulu Airport has an ATM for cash withdrawals at the arrivals lounge. There is also a letterbox located in the arrivals lounge.

Lost property

Lost property is delivered to a lost property office (Pohjois-Pohjanmaan löytötavarapalvelut). Check contact information on the company's website (in Finnish).

Meeting facilities

Oulu Airport provides facilities also for meetings. The meeting facilities are located on the second floor of the terminal before going through the security.

The meeting area has two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. The rooms are 44 and 12 square metres in area. The facilities are best suited for 15 people and are equipped with a video projector, a phone and a tv.

Lounges

Oulu Airport has a lounge, Oulu Showroom, located in the gate area near gate 14. The lounge area is divided into a business lounge and a showroom area. Business Oulu Lounge provides a peaceful environment for working or reading, and the showroom hosts an annual exhibition. The lounge is open around the clock for all passengers travelling through Oulu Airport.

Tour operators

The service desks of tour operators at Oulu Airport are at your service according to the charter flight schedule to assist you with practical issues. The service desks are located on the first floor near the check-in desks.
