Parking

If you arrive at Oulu Airport by car, you can leave your vehicle at the car park in front of the terminal. The location of the car park is illustrated in the parking map.

Oulu Airport has two car parks. A heated parking space is included in the P1 parking fee. P2 offers free short-term parking for 20 minutes or under. See more information below.

Parking for the disabled is located in front of the terminal at marked spaces. Place your disabled parking permit on the windscreen inside the car. If there are no free spaces in this area, people with a disabled parking permit can park at either car park and collect a free parking receipt at the information desk.

Parking fee

Parking prices are valid from June 1, 2011 until further notice. Parking at the airport car parks is at your own risk.

Payment methods

The car park has a barrier gate system. You will get a parking receipt by pushing the button at the gate when you arrive at the car park. Remember to take the receipt with you when you leave your car.

Parking is paid at the ticket machines located inside the terminal. The payment can be made by cash or by credit and debit cards.

Insert the paid receipt into the reader at the exit gate and then remove it to open the gate.

Free short-term parking at P2

Parking for 20 minutes or under is free at the P2 car park at Oulu Airport. Collect the parking receipt when entering the car park. If you exit within 20 minutes of your arrival, you don't have to validate the receipt at the ticket machines.

Heated parking spaces at P1

Oulu Airport has an environmentally-friendly and economical heating system that takes the outside air temperature into account when heating the car.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you can text the time and date when you wish the car to be heated. If there are changes to your flight schedule, you can change the heating time by texting the new schedule.

Heating service is included in the P1 fee.

Instructions

• Park your car at a heated parking space at the P1 car park and text 16130.
• OU#the number of the heating plug (space) time in the format hhmm (space) date in the format ddmmyy, for example OU#12 1230 201012
• If you wish to change the heating time later on, send a new text message.
