Liverpool is 2008 Capital of Culture. It is also the home of the Beatles and has
a fantastic Beatles Museum. The city is as great for shopping as it is for
football. Premiership football including two big UK Teams have their football
grounds in Liverpool; Liverpool FC And Everton FC. Liverpool is built on the
Merseyside River. There is no better way to experience the city and the
Merseyside than via the boat trips on the river, 2.45 GBP one way. There are
also good golfing courses along the river banks!
