Connections to Helsinki Airport:
Train, buses and taxis

You can come to Helsinki Airport by train, bus, taxi or car.

The train connection between Helsinki city center and Helsinki Airport was opened in July 2015.

  • The direct entrance between the train station and the terminal will be completed at the end of December 2015, at the earliest. Until its completion, access between the terminal and the train station is through the Tietotie entrance.
  • HSL (Helsinki Region Transport) offers free bus transportation between the Tietotie entrance of the Helsinki Airport train station and both terminals. Click here to see the Tietotie entrance on the map.
  • The bus will operate every five minutes from 6 am to 11 pm and every ten minutes at other times. The platform is located by the front doors of the train station. Buses from the terminals to the train station depart from platform 25 (T2) and platform 12 (T1).
  • The bus transportation will slightly increase the travel time and, therefore, we ask customers to reserve enough time when travelling to the airport.

More information and the train schedules are available at HSL website.
