Mobile version of Finavia's web service

The mobile version can be used to browse real-time flight information at Helsinki Airport and Finland's 18 other airports, as well as read the latest news. The website for Helsinki Airport also contains information on airlines, checking-in and the airport's services.

Flight information as text message

You can also order flight information as text message: it lets you follow details of all Finavia's airports' arrivals and departures in real time. You will receive a text or voice message about, e.g., plane landings or the gate to proceed to.

1) Order the service by writing a following message:

[FLIGHT] space [FLIGHTNUMBER] space [DATE] space [AIRPORT]
For example: FLIGHT AY123 280410 TURKU.

Please note that the flight number should contain no spaces.

2) Send the message to number 16124

After placing an order, you will receive an answer confirming arrival of the order and then 1-5 messages depending on the flight.

The service works in Finnish [LENTO], Swedish [FLYG] and English [FLIGHT].

It relates to one flight at a time and costs EUR 1.04 together with any foreign operator charge.

The mobile service is also designed to provide the hard-of-hearing and visually impaired passengers with a better service. The visually impaired can receive the text message as spoken text. A terminal device that can take voice messages is required for this.

Finavia will not be held responsible for interference or other technical problems affecting transmission of text messages. Even if they order the service, passengers should still check flight information, e.g., on airport monitors.
