Information on these pages is aimed to make travelling easier. Before packing be sure to also observe baggage size and weight restrictions. Read the security guidelines carefully, they help you to pack right. The guidelines are based on EU regulations and international air traffic regulations, which are available on Finnish Civil Aviation Authority website.
Only passengers departing for destinations outside the Schengen countries must present passports and other border-crossing documents to the Border Guard. Although passports are not checked when travelling to the Schengen countries, passengers must have a valid travel document, for example passport or standard photo ID.
