We?ve updated our website

Welcome to our revamped website! We have made a number of improvements that we are sure will be useful to our various user groups.

The Airports and Travelling section gives you the home pages of all the airports as well as travel information.  

During the spring the airport websites will receive online-information on departing and arriving flights for all our airports. We are working constantly to develop this service and we shall announce separately when each airport introduces it. At the moment, departing and arriving flight information is available on the Helsinki-Vantaa and Turku airport pages as well as the pages of a few airports in Lapland.  

You can also check up to date weather reports on each airport?s pages.  

We have also introduced a new map service which will help you find your route from any address in Finland to any of our airports. You can study the driving instructions in various scales and they are also easy to print out. Service is available only in finnish at the moment.

You can also reach the airport pages by using their direct addresses, for example: www.turkuairport.fi or www.helsinki-vantaa.fi.

The section for Airlines and Aviators provides a database containing information on such matters as aerodrome fees, service providers (handling companies), slot coordination and aeronautical information services.  

Information primarily of concern to aviators can be found on the site for the Civil Aviation Authority, the official aviation body founded at the beginning of 2006.

About Finavia section provides information including air traffic statistics, environmental information and our publications in pdf format, mainly for use by the media and our partner organisations. The Avia College pages provide training information and you can also find details about our recruiting from this section.
