Finavia’s web service renewed

Welcome to Finavia's renewed web service! The purpose of the redesign has been to modify the structure and content of the site to serve air passengers even better, as well as to provide a new, fresh look for the site.

The redesign applies to the Group website (finavia.fi) as well as the respective websites of the airports, excluding Helsinki-Vantaa. Besides the new look, the structure of the website has been redesigned according to its user groups. There are designated sections for air passengers, airlines, the media and aviators. In addition, the environmental section and the content and usability of the individual sites for each airport have been developed.

Access to flight info easier and faster

One of the site's most popular services are real-time flight details. These details can now be accessed on the front page of the service. The details also have a visible role on the regional airport sites.

At the moment, the real-time information about departing and arriving flights cover a total of 13 Finavia airports. Helsinki-Vantaa's flight information has been online for years already, and the service is also used by the following airports: Kuopio, Turku, Kuusamo, Tampere-Pirkkala, Kittilä, Pori, Vaasa, Oulu, Jyväskylä, Maarianhamina, Kajaani and Rovaniemi.

Crasman Co Ltd is responsible for the technical implementation of the web service. The redesign is based on the results of a visitor survey conducted in 2008, as well as Finavia's online service strategy for 2009-2011; also from now on, the web services will be developed according to the policies set out in the strategy.
