More flight connections from Vaasa

Vaasa Airport now has better connections as Flybe has introduced a direct route to Tallinn, and Norwegian will launch a direct route to Stockholm Arlanda in the spring. Vaasa Airport's estimated number of passengers for this year is about 330,000.

Flybe provides the Vaasa-Tallinn route five times a week. The new route serves the movement of labour, cooperation between companies and leisure travellers.
Norwegian will introduce the Vaasa-Stockholm route in April 2012. The route will be available twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays.

The new routes provide passengers with more alternatives. From the beginning of 2011 to October 2011, the passenger volume at Vaasa Airport increased by almost 17%.

An estimated 84 charter flights will depart from Vaasa Airport this year. A Boeing 767-300 has also visited Vaasa for the first time, and flies directly to Phuket in Thailand. Finnair, Flybe, Norwegian, Blue1 and airBaltic operate route traffic from Vaasa Airport.
