Kokkola-Pietarsaari summer renovation ready

The extensive renovation of Finavia's Kokkola-Pietarsaari was completed last week. Scheduled flights started on Saturday after the summer break.

In the runway renovation in the summer, the airport's traffic areas were re-paved. The paved area is 25 hectares in total. At the same time, the cables of the runway light system were updated, and lights were replaced.

The luggage conveyor of the airport and the terminal's air conditioning system were maintained during the summer. The markings in the parking area are now clearer as a result of a painting project.

Flybe operates from Kokkola-Pietarsaari to Helsinki and Blue1 to Stockholm.
