The Flight Safety Authority publishes its own annual report containing more detailed information about its activities in 2003. Air safety comes from acceptance of responsibility, professional expertise and cooperation with the parties involved.

Official air safety functions are detached from the work of the CAA and are handled by the Flight Safety Authority, over which the FSA has independent authority of action, as laid down in the CAA Act.
