The Flight Safety Authority is the official Finnish body acting
independently within the CAA to maintain and improve air safety.
Air safety comes from acceptance of responsibility, professional
expertise and cooperation with the parties involved.
Official air safety functions are detached from the work of
the CAA and are handled by the Flight Safety Authority, over
which the FSA has independent authority of action, as laid
down in the CAA Act.
