Income to the Flight Safety Authority consists primarily of judicial fees paid under Ministry of Transport and Communications regulations. Earnings for the Flight Safety Authority in 2003 amounted to 975,000 euros. Operating expenses amounted to 5,199,000 euros. The defi cit on offi cial operations is covered from profi ts from the CAA’s commercial operations.
