The
Outlook For 2004
The outlook for the next year is, as so
often before, uncertain. We have budgeted for a growth rate
of about 3 % in demand. The capacity of the market and confusion
around the world will surely affect the accuracy of this estimate
in the year just begun as well. As a result of the real reduction
in charges, as well as a number of new official regulations,
our earnings estimate is slightly lower than for the current
year, at about 8 million euros, corresponding to the earnings
requirement of 4 % on capital set by the Ministry of Transport
and Communications for its infrastructure institutions.
Sat sapienti.
Whilst wishing every customer of the CAA success in business
and service and offering our partnership in developing the
air traffic service chain, I also wish to thank the CAA staff
for their devotion during a year of extreme fluctuations.
Your work and your attitude have played their part in helping
air traffic in Finland and at our airports to get back on
the upward path again, where we hope it will stay, firmly
and for a long time to come.
