The CAA took part in a personnel management benchmarking
study for the first time in spring 2004. The study covered
36 organisations which were divided into four comparison
groups: industry, the energy sector, public services and
service companies.
The purpose of comparing key figures and procedural descriptions
was to find the best practices for the various areas of
personnel management, such as leadership, management of
personnel resources, pay, incentives and labour contract
issues, improvement of skills and the welfare and satisfaction
of the staff. A further goal was to identify the organisation’s
own strengths and areas for development within personnel
management.
