Our customers mean everything to us. We must almost be able to recognise world changes, airline industry trends, service demand and proper content better than our customers. Thus can we offer them what they need.
Our customer is the airline passenger, the ordinary tripper and business traveller. Our customers are airlines. Our customer is the entire Finnish business community. And our customer is society as a whole, Finland as part of the connected world. This is why it is so motivating to work at the Civil Aviation Administration – because the country, its citizens and its business people are our customers.
Safety is integral to everything we do. We have made enormous efforts to promote security in our infrastructure, our systems and our operating culture. This means constant, precision work enabling us to effectively meet newly emerging regulations. Safety and security are the foundation of all our business, the bedrock on which to build. We shall never compromise in our safety endeavours, for any reason.
At the same time, our security structures are customer- friendly, smooth-running and functional. Here, too, we must always grasp the customer challenge. Finland’s edge lies in its rapid turnaround of aircraft, queue-free service, a human-scale terminal and effective security control, though these things do require enormous effort – it’s an unending task. Nor do we wish to compromise on service standards; long delays in security control queues are not acceptable.
Because customer benefi t is one of our values. And because airlines, passengers and Finnish competitiveness in general are our customers, we desire to do our best and to develop. For development and renewal are our values too.
