ICAO AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS

The CAA represents Finland at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). Finland currently has a representative on the ICAO’s 36 member council so she has had an excellent opportunity to influence the activities of this international aviation standards organisation. In addition, in March 2005 the ICAO organised a worldwide conference on international air navigation, in which the Finnish Civil Aviation Administration participated.

Besides the ICAO, the CAA has represented Finland at the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, Eurocontrol.
