Income for the Flight Safety Authority in 2005 came to 992 000 euros, whilst operational expenses were 6 925 740 euros. Receipts rose by slightly more than 58 000 euros compared with the previous year and operational expenses rose by 85 000 euros.

The majority of the income on official charges comes from licence fees, which brought in 336 739 euros. Earnings on air-worthiness supervision charges amounted to 274 097 euros and earnings from operator certification fees came to 252 064 euros.
