OFFICIAL TASKS WELL MANAGED

The official pan-European norms drawn up by the European Aviation Safety Agency, EASA, the Joint Aviation Authority, JAA, and Eurocontrol, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, to ensure aviation safety were introduced in Finland in accordance with jointly accepted timetables and practices. In the main, these norms were put into effect in Finland within the timetables set by these organisations.

JAA and EASA standardisation teams inspected the official functions of the Flight Safety Authority. On the basis of these inspections it can be stated that the Flight Safety Authority has carried out its official duties in accordance with requirements.
