CHANGES IN ADMINISTRATION

A new Board of Directors was appointed for Finavia from the start of 2006. Managing Director Jussi Järventaus continued as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the other members to continue were Ms. Mona Björklund and Ms. Eeva Niskavaara. The Government appointed special advisor Leena Kostiander (Deputy Chairman), managing director Sinikka Mönkäre, Professor Hannu Seristö and auditor Heikki Vaalgamaa (personnel representative) as
new members of the Board of Directors. The term of office expired for the following members of the Board: Mr Pekka Hurtola, manager Matti Puhakka and Chairman Sami Fabritius (personnel representative).

The Board of Directors set up an audit committee during its term office, in which the Board was represented by Ms. Eeva Niskavaara (Chairman), Ms. Leena Kostiander and Mr. Hannu Seristö.

Finavia’s management was strengthened by appointing Mr. Martti Huomo, manager of the Airports Department, as deputy managing director and by recruiting Mr. Pekka Hurtola as the new manager of strategy and development. In addition, internal auditing was strengthened by recruiting a new head of internal auditing. In connection with the refocusing of the organization, the safety and quality unit was moved to report directly to the managing director.
