Kajaani Airport wins the 2007 Airport of the Year award. Kajaani Airport had a total of 91,000 passengers in 2007.
Air traffic between Finland and Asia increased by 39 per cent compared with the previous year. There were 1.3 million passengers.
The extension of the international terminal at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport will be completed in the autumn of 2009.
Renovations of the taxiway carried out at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Air traffic was smooth despite the renovations.
The airport with second largest surface area in Finland was completed at Kittilä in December.
