Helsinki Airport again in the world's TOP10 list
The success of Helsinki Airport continues. The airport received once again top rankings in comparisons of airports around the world.
SleepingInAirports, a website mapping airports and their sleep-ability, has published the results of the 2015 vote on airports.
The website published a survey where people could vote on, among others, the best airports in Europe and the whole world, as well as the most sleep-friendly airports, in 2015.
Number seven in the world – number two in Europe
Described as innovative and transit-friendly, Helsinki Airport received positive feedback from voters for its free Wi-Fi, clean and modern facilities, and friendly staff.
Based on the overall airport experience, Helsinki Airport was voted the seventh best airport in the world. Among European airports, Helsinki Airport maintained its ranking in the 2013 and 2014 votes and was ranked number two. This was the first time the website had a global vote on airports.
Described as innovative and transit-friendly, Helsinki Airport received positive feedback from voters for its free Wi-Fi, clean and modern facilities, and friendly staff. The art gallery, GoSleep pods and a wide range of eateries and shops were also mentioned in the survey.

The world’s third most sleep-friendly airport
In the SleepingInAirports survey, Helsinki Airport was also voted the third most sleep-friendly airport in the world.
The voters appreciated the armrest-free seating and reclining lounge chairs, the free and quiet Kainuu Lounge and the innovative GoSleep pods.
In the corresponding votes in 2013 and 2014, Helsinki Airport was ranked fifth and third.
GoSleep pods are a Finnish innovation.
Singapore Changi International Airport was voted the best airport in 2015. It was also ranked as the best airport for sleeping. Munich International Airport, Germany, was voted as the best airport in Europe in 2015.
