The selection of season cards for general aviators is being renewed from 1 July 2018 onwards.

General aviators’ season cards are meant for aircraft with the maximum takeoff weight of 2,000 kilos. Season cards are meant for recreational aviators as well as for professional aviation.

The season cards for recreational aviators remain the same and Finavia will keep their prices at the same level as in 2017. Finavia’s goal is to promote the aviation culture in Finland and make recreational aviation possible.

However, professional aviation season cards will be phased out of use beginning on 1 July 2018. In the future, pricing for professional aviation will use pricing based on operations related pricing, regardless of the aircraft’s size. This change will make pricing equal for professional and commercial aviation and the fees collected will better reflect the costs incurred by the activity.

The effects caused by the change will be alleviated by a transition period of four years so that there will be more time for adjustment. All aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 2,000 kilos will be granted the following discounts on landing, terminal navigation and parking charges.

1 July 2018 – 30 June 2019: 80% discount
1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020: 60% discount
1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021: 40% discount
1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022: 20% discount

Season cards and discounts do not apply to Helsinki Airport.

Discounts will be granted on a registration basis from the application date onward by email: [email protected]
