Nextjet adds flights from Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport to Stockholm, Sweden, and opens a new route via Umeå to Gothenburg.

Nextjet adds more flights to the route between the Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport and Arlanda in Stockholm from 12 March 2018 onwards.  Beginning this spring, Nextjet will fly 13 times a week from the Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport to Stockholm.

“We can now meet the demand from passengers by increasing our offering and improving schedules. We have an entirely new schedule with morning and evening departures, so we can look forward to the year 2018 with confidence”, says Nextjet marketing and route manager Henning Lindberg in the company press release.

The number of passengers on the route increased in 2017 by over 10 percent, Nextjet informs.

In addition, the airline will open a new weekend route in March from the Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport via Umeå to Gothenburg. The new route will be flown with a 50-seater CRJ 200 type jet plane.

“The new route is an exiting opening, and it can be strengthened in the future with additional flights if there is more demand”, says Henning Lindberg.
