There are many holidaymakers at the airports as schools are closed because of autumn break. We ask all passengers to arrive at the airport in good time especially from 10 October to 17 October when there are many departing passengers at the airports.

Smooth travelling

If you are departing from our airports, we ask you to reserve enough time for arrival and parking as well as for checking in your luggage and going through the security control. Pack your luggage with care. Check here what you can take in your hand baggage and what must be packed in the cargo hold.

If you are arriving at the airport with your own car, we recommend booking parking in advance. This means you can be sure that you won’t have to waste time looking for a parking space and that you will get a parking space in your desired parking area.

Services for families travelling with children

On our website, you’ll find services for families with children and instructions for unaccompanied minors.

At Helsinki Airport, families can ease their holiday stress by visiting the renewed play areas and child-friendly restaurants, and using other services that are sure to keep little travellers happy. Read more.

Packing instructions for hunters and campers

You can use our checklist to ensure that you have packed guns and ammunition correctly. The list also contains information of the correct transportation of camping stoves and matches aboard an aircraft.

Book your duty-free purchases online, and collect them from the airport
