Terminaali 2 pysäköinti
The construction of the terminal 2 extension will cause changes to traffic arrangements at Helsinki Airport from 21 May. Here, you can find information about what to do when dropping off or picking up passengers at the airport.

Dropping passengers off at the airport

The ramp leading to the main entrance of terminal 2 will be demolished during the summer. This means that the area in front of the check-in can no longer be accessed by car and passengers should be dropped off one floor below at the arrivals level. The change will take effect on 21 May. The escalator leading to the check-in area will be completed at the beginning of June.

When dropping passengers off at terminal 1 or terminal 2, you may stop in front of the terminal only briefly in order for the passengers to step out of the car. Parking or walking away from the car is prohibited. If you wish to accompany the passengers into the terminal, please use the short-term parking area in P3.

Picking passengers up from the airport

When picking passengers up from Helsinki Airport or visiting the airport for other reasons, please use the short-term parking area in P3.

The short-term parking area is located in front of terminal 1. From the parking area, there is a covered footpath to terminal 1, from where you can also reach terminal 2 indoors through a connecting corridor. The distance to terminal 2 is approximately 400 metres.

Parking in the short-term parking area costs EUR 1/10 minutes. If you park for less than 10 minutes you can leave without paying a fee.
