Juneyao Airlines to commence connecting flights from Helsinki Airport in March 2020

The coronavirus has affected the air travel industry in a dramatic way. Because of the situation, many routes have been temporarily cancelled or postponed. In March 2020, the Shanghai-Helsinki route will be connected forward to Manchester, Dublin and Reykjavik.

The first connecting flight will continue to Manchester in late March. The flight will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additionally, Juneyao Airlines will continue from Helsinki Airport to Dublin on Thursdays and Sundays and to Reykjavik on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Juneyao Airlines flies the routes with Boeing 787-9 aircraft with all together 324 seats, with 29 seats in business class and 295 in economy. Passengers can also fly only the connecting flight between Helsinki and the three new destinations.

Juneyao Airlines has also shared plans to open new direct routes to London and Athens in June 2020.

Update 24.2.2020: Juneyao Air has decided to postpone the starting of the new connections from Helsinki onwards until further notice. The Helsinki-Shanghai route will remain in normal operation.
