The effects of the coronavirus can be seen at Finavia’s airports to a considerable extent, with passenger traffic shut down for the summer and early autumn at many airports. Finavia commenced the third round of cooperation negotiations, concerning the entire personnel, in order to adjust its operations according to the changed traffic situation.

Finavia is planning temporary layoffs for a maximum of 90 days for the work tasks with a reduced amount of work available. Depending on the work task in question, the temporary layoffs would be either full-time or part-time. The cooperation negotiations commenced on 14 September 2020.

Finavia’s first round of cooperation negotiations to adjust operations took place in March and second in June.
