Åland was popular amongst Finns this summer. About 6,000 domestic passengers flew to Mariehamn this summer.

Autumn in Åland is stunning and seems to last forever. We are still caressed by warm sea breezes during the day, and the long nights are perfect for cozy evenings indoors. Seize the occasion and enjoy a safe, healthy autumn with us.

Certain travel restrictions are still in place, and it is important to follow the recommendations, but domestic travellers are welcome, and you can spend as much time outdoors as you like. Finnair flies direct between Helsinki and Mariehamn. Over the summer, we had an influx of domestic Finnish visitors visiting Åland for their holidays. We loved seeing them here.
