According to weather forecast, extremely heavy snowfall and strong winds are expected from Thursday through Sunday. The rest of the week might see a reduced number of flights. Passengers are asked to prepare for delays.

The number of arriving and departing flights may have to be reduced. At Helsinki Airport, there can also be changes in the use of runways.

Finavia will do its best to keep the runways open and operations running smoothly.

The ground handling companies and airlines at Helsinki Airport will do their best to assure that aircraft de-icing and baggage handling processes run as well as possible.
