The airlines Nyxair, Karhuaero Transaviabaltika and Amapola Flyg, which currently operate from Terminal 1, will move to the new terminal extension of Helsinki Airport at the beginning of May.

Passengers and those dropping them off or picking them up at the airport should note that the check-in and security control for Nyxair, Karhuaero and Transaviabaltika flights, as well as the baggage reclaim and arrival procedures for those flights, will take place in Terminal 2 from 1 May. All Amapola Flyg flights will depart and arrive via new Terminal 2 extension from 2 May.

You can check the terminal information as well as the departure and arrival times for your flight on our website.

Moving airlines to the new extension is part of the change in which Helsinki Airport is adopting a single-terminal operating model. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 will be phased out and all flights will depart and arrive via the new extension from 21 June 2022.

The airlines DAT, Easyjet and Vueling as well as Jet Time and Sunclass already moved from Terminal 1 to the new extension earlier in April.

The remaining airlines operating in Terminal 1 will move to the new departure and arrivals halls from 1 June. We will share more information about the change in the near future.

For more information about the terminal change and the new security control practices, please see our press release.

Updated April 27: Amapola Flyg will also move to Terminal 2 at the beginning of May
