Finavia offers four hours of free parking for holders of a parking card for people with reduced mobility in all parking areas at Helsinki Airport from 1 June 2023 onwards.

In the future, a parking card for people with reduced mobility will entitle its holder to a maximum of four hours of free parking at Helsinki Airport. Parking for more than four hours and parking for the duration of one’s trip will be charged in accordance with the price list.

How to get four hours of free parking

When entering the parking hall P1 Premium and P2 and the short-term parking area, the boom gate will open automatically after the licence plate number has been identified. When entering other parking areas (P3, P5 and P4), take a parking ticket from the gate.

When exiting the vehicle, always take your personal parking card for people with reduced mobility and your identity card with you.

When you want to leave the airport and end your parking, first present your parking card and your parking ticket or licence plate number at Finavia’s information desk in the arrivals hall. After that, you can simply go back to your car and drive out of the parking hall for free.

Your parking card entitles you to park in spaces marked with a wheelchair symbol. Parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility are located next to the entrances and exits of the parking areas. You may also park in other spaces.

Assistance call points for passengers with reduced mobility are located in the lift lobby at the entrance and exit of the parking halls. In the outdoor parking area P4, the assistance call point is located at the entrance to the train station.

Parking for persons with reduced mobility for more than four hours or for the duration of the trip

Parking for more than four hours must be paid for according to the price list. You can pay for parking using a parking payment machine or at a parking information desk. In P1 Premium and P2 as well as in the short-term parking area, parking can also be paid for using the Moovy mobile app. For more information about parking areas and parking fees, please visit our website.
