As of Midsummer, Finns will be able to familiarise themselves with new route flight destinations when Finnair commences direct flights from Helsinki to Pisa in Italy and Biarritz in France. There will be two connections to each destination in the summer season.

Alanya in Turkey is also a new destination for Finnair; in April–August, there will be three weekly connections to Alanya. Finnair will also increase the number of connections to Antalya. Therefore, Finnair will provide a total of eight direct route flights to Turkey in the summer season. Most of the flights will take place during daytime.

Finnair will increase the number of departures to several cities in Europe. The number of flights to Dusseldorf and Zurich will double from two daily flights to four. In June–August, the number of flights to Dubrovnik, Copenhagen, Malaga, Paris, Rome and Tel Aviv will also be higher.

Toronto is another familiar destination in the summer season. Flights there will take place with an Airbus 330 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from the beginning of June to almost the end of September.
