Direct flights to Chicago resume

In the summer holiday season, American Airlines will once again be operating flights from Chicago to Helsinki. Direct flights will be available until 18 August.

Flights to Chicago, the third largest city in the United States, depart from Helsinki Airport every day at 2.30 pm. Flights from Chicago arrive at Helsinki Airport at 8.30 am.

Chicago is a significant hub for business, industry and culture. The city is also known for its architecture and especially for its many skyscrapers. Willis Tower (formerly called Sears Tower) is the most famous landmark in the city; it is one of the tallest buildings in the world.

Chicago has several institutes of higher education, such as the University of Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago. The city’s other sights include the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium.
