Flight service between Savonlinna and Helsinki to start soon

The Hungarian Budapest Aircraft Service (BASe Airlines) won the bidding competition arranged by the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications and the City of Savonlinna concerning regular flights between Helsinki and Savonlinna for the period 1 Oct. 2014 - 19 Dec. 2015.

BASe is planning to operate two daily flights between Helsinki and Savonlinna from Monday to Friday.

Flights from Helsinki are planned to depart at 6.50 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and flights from Savonlinna are planned to depart at 8.05 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. The route will be operated using an Embraer 120 with 30 seats.

The company announces that it will start ticket sales on its website as soon as the agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications is signed.
