According to the company's press release, there will be three departures per day (Monday–Friday) to both directions. Departures will also be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Some departures include an intermediate landing in Pori. That enables flights between Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport and Pori Airport. Driving to Pori takes four hours, but the duration of the flight is only 50 minutes.
"Our fleet serves the region's passengers in an excellent way, and this accounts for previous travel behaviour," says Henning Lindberg, sales and marketing manager of Nextjet.
The route is operated with a SAAB 340 with 33 seats. The flight from Kokkola to Stockholm takes about one-and-a-half hours.
