On June 13 Helsinki Airport welcomed back some old friends as a group of participants from last year’s Quality Hunters 2013 workshops visited the airport.

The group had been invited to Helsinki to take part in Finnair’s ‘The world’s most tweeting airline’ event and to get acquainted with Finavia’s TravelLab initiative. TravelLab brings prototypes of possible new services to the airport’s passengers for testing.

The group also got a special behind-the-scenes tour of the airport.

During the visit, the quality hunters took part in a pilates class at Gate Yoga, enjoyed coffee from Gate Roastery, tasted Finnish superfoods and tried their hand at making flower garlands at the Midsummer Festival created at the airport as a part of TravelLab.

The ideas tested in TravelLab were in part created in the Quality Hunters workshops, so getting to see the prototypes implemented at the airport was particularly interesting to the group.
