Passengers were positively surprised at the airport, as the departure hall celebrated the beginning of Christmas holiday season. Santa Claus came to greet the departing passengers.

Passengers got into the Christmas spirit, as Finnair's choir performed traditional Christmas carols flashmob style, starting the singing in the passenger crowd. Beautiful Christmas lights of Terminal 2 departure hall were also lit up.

Santa Claus himself visited the airport with his little helpers. Santa greeted the passengers with chocolate and other Christmas treats. Passengers were also able to take photos with Santa.

Santa Claus can be seen at the airport throughout December several days a week. In addition, Helsinki Airport's shops and restaurants provide irresistible Christmas offers until the end of the year.
