Helsinki Airport’s popular yoga trial begins its second run. Yoga lessons will again be available 25-27 August.

Yoga Gate is a part of Finavia’s TravelLab initiative, which collects passenger feedback on potential new services at the airport. Yoga Gate was first trialled in early summer, when it was well-received by passengers. The continued trial aims to find out if passengers would like to take part in short yoga sessions at the airport and if so, how it should be done.

Earlier this summer, yoga lessons were trialled at the airport’s harmonious Kainuu-space. This time, yoga lessons are also brought to a new location. On Monday and Tuesday the lessons will take place at the Kainuu space and from Wednesday, relaxing yoga moments can be enjoyed near gate 33, in the non-Schengen area.

The second stage of the yoga trial also tests passengers’ interest in extra services. Passengers can purchase yoga mats and clothes at the Yoga Gate shop. The trial also tests passengers’ interest in paying for lessons.

The Yoga gate shop features clothes and yoga mats from Lily Lotus, Teekin, Jade Yoga and Teawear as well as cosmetics from Terre d’Oc and Aloree.

Yoga Gate will run 25-27 August. Yoga lessons will be held during airport peak hours, lasting around 15-20 minutes. More specific schedules will be announced on airport info screens. Lessons at Yoga Gate will be organised by Moola, a Helsinki-based yoga school.

Update: Yoga lessons end on 27 August.
