The first day of the professional conference—by experts for experts—will consist of presentations on different sectors of winter maintenance from de-icing to technology, and on the second day the participants will observe winter maintenance know-how in practice at Finavia. An educational tour of the winter maintenance operations and de-icing hubs at Helsinki Airport will show the delegations how the runways are kept in summer-like conditions even during the winter.
Helsinki Airport will host the event, which is organized by Airport Focus. The previous conference was arranged at London Heathrow Airport two years ago.
