New shops and cafés at Helsinki Airport

A number of exciting new cafés and shops have opened at Helsinki Airport during the autumn. All in all, approximately 70 new or renovated shops and restaurants have arrived at the airport. 

Duty Free

The Duty Free shop in Terminal 1 underwent a complete renovation during autumn 2015. During the renovation, completed in November 2015, the shop was transformed into a stylish walk-in shop.

Max Mara

The fashion selection in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 2 expanded in November 2015 when the sumptuous Max Mara shop was opened. It offers a selection of timeless clothing and accessories for women.

Fågeli

In early December 2015, a new café Fågeli was opened at Terminal 1. The café, which is located before the security check, has a great take-away menu that includes filled bagels, hot dogs and sweet pastries.

Upper Crust

Finland’s first Upper Crust café opened at Helsinki Airport in mid-December. The international café chain is known for its freshly baked filled baguettes.

60 Bar & Brewery

The 60 Bar & Brewery, which will be opened in late December 2015, will have an extensive selection of beers. It will offer a changing selection of products from microbreweries, along with other drinks, salads and filled sandwiches.

Coming in 2016

In early 2016, the renovation of the popular Irish Pub Oak Barrel will begin. The moderate renovation that ends in February 2016 will be carried out in stages to allow the restaurant to serve customers throughout the renovation.

Moi Helsinki Pub, which will open in the Arrivals 2A lobby in early 2016, will serve beer and finger food. The interior design of Moi displays scenes from Helsinki. It provides a relaxing atmosphere where arriving and departing passengers can meet.

In spring 2016, Cafe Tori and Coffee Spoon at Helsinki Airport will also be renovated, and Coffee Spoon will also be renamed. During summer a new Café Restaurant called called Helsinki Market will open in Terminal 1.
