We compared the meal services offered by five airlines on scheduled flights from Europe to Bangkok. Meal and drink services on economy-class long-haul flights are nearly the same among all airlines, but there are more differences on European routes.

Lufthansa, KLM, and British Airways serve a snack free of charge. All cold and hot drinks – including beer and wine – are free of charge.

Finnair serves water, coffee, tea, or blueberry juice. You can buy snacks and other drinks from Finnair's wide Sky Bistro selection. You can also pre-order a hot meal for an additional fee.

Norwegian's lowest-priced LowFare tickets don't include any meals or drinks, but you can buy drinks and many types of snacks during the flight.

You can bring your own snacks on all flights. The airport's restaurants and cafés offer a large selection of prepacked meals and snacks you can buy and take on the flight with you.
