A World Cup slalom event will be held in Levi on 11–13 November. Finavia's Kittilä Airport is an excellent winter traffic hub for skiers, spectators and event organisers.

“We wish all winter sports enthusiasts welcome to Kittilä when World Cup Levi, known worldwide, kicks off only 15 kilometres away from the airport. This winter, Lapland will be an even more popular destination, with Kittilä, in particular, attracting new routes like a magnet. During the 2016–2017 winter season, four new direct routes will be opened to the airport from Germany and the UK,” says Katja Siberg, vice president of marketing and business development at Finavia.

To guarantee smoothly flowing traffic, Finavia carried out an extensive modernisation project at the terminal. Work was finished after the previous World Cup event. The airport runway was also renovated last year.

Finavia is a sponsor of World Cup Levi. Finavia is visible not only at the airport, but also in the event area. Our high-flying stand is located close to the World Cup slope.

Welcome and enjoy the snows of Lapland!
