“We are very glad to offer scheduled services 8 times a week between Helsinki and Munich and Helsinki and Amsterdam. It is a pleasure to serve the Finnish market and offer passengers an attractive price and friendly service. We believe very strongly in this route which has much to offer to both business and leisure passengers", says Paul de Raad, Vice President Marketing & E-commerce at Transavia.

More flight connections as Finavia develops Helsinki Airport

Finavia’s development programme for expanding Helsinki Airport was launched in 2013. The intention is to consolidate Helsinki Airport’s competitive position as a transfer traffic provider for travel between Asia and Europe, and to maintain excellent flight connections between Finland and the rest of the world.

The airport expansion will make it possible to serve 20 million passengers in 2020. Helsinki Airport's strengths include short transit times, friendly staff and world class service.
